It's kind of frightening ...Yes thanks for that.
It's kind of frightening when we do think about what's coming next!
It scares me.
You make excellent points. I like too what you said about taking solace in the 'monsters of old--' something I like to do.
In the last analysis what is familiar and 'safe' can be terrifying when the safety factor is removed or we find it never existed in the first place!
fabulous comment, Blaze!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330860891490096355.post-2068491393128050592011-03-31T12:55:15.223+01:002011-03-31T12:55:15.223+01:00You are so right with what you say here, Carole. M...You are so right with what you say here, Carole. Monsters evolve with the times. Who knows what we're going to come up with after this horrible devastation that just took place in Japan. Let's just hope they are only fictitious and don't actually come to life. I remember the movie "Them" with James Arness before his Gunsmoke fame. Yes, the special effects were not like what we see today, but it still put the point across. New monsters will always be with us, ever more frightening, but we can always take solace in the monsters of old, waiting for us like a favorite Teddy Bear.Blaze McRobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593633013555705302noreply@blogger.com
