Merry Everything, but just remember--!

As I’m preparing for Christmas, I’m also preparing for the New Year. Resolutions the whole thing! And I’m thinking of my work habits—and as I do, I recall my favorite scene from THE SHINING.
The scene wherein Wendy (Shelley Duval) finds Jack (Jack Nicholson) has flipped his cork and is completely mad. You remember the scene—all those pages of his manuscript with ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY..! So remember don’t go near the Overlook Hotel—especially off season and whatever you do, try not to overwork!
And most especially, have a happy, joyous Christmas and New Year.

Working on my dark-themed horror m.s.

Just started writing a new novel. Its themes are: vampirism, devil worship--madness and obsession--set in 19th Century England.
I've had this idea for a long time and have worked on it on and off for months, started writing it, too. I hope to have it ready for submission by Spring.
It's really dark, I mean I love dark horror but this is opaque!
Anyway, I'm very excited about it and will keep you all posted!
I have all my characters fleshed out as well as the storyline.
